Title: Modeling, Analysis and simulation in sandy beaches

Abstract:  In this work  we  focus on the numerical modeling of interactions between surface water and groundwater flows in sandy beaches. Using a coupled approach combining the Shallow Water Equations and the Richards Equation, the work introduces innovative numerical methods to simulate wetting, drying, and infiltration processes. The research contributes to better understanding coastal hydrodynamics and helps predict phenomena like erosion and groundwater recharge during storms.
